Letter from the President
My name is Ryan Verver and I am the president of IOA (Illinois Officials Association), one of the largest associations in the state with 400+ umpires contracting to over 65 IHSA schools and some of the largest tournaments and travel programs in the state. I would like to personally invite you to explore the opportunity of joining our association.
We serve much of the Chicago metropolitan area, ranging as far north as Oswego, south to The Kankakee River Valley, and West to Seneca. Our reach extends eight high school conferences, the prestigious WJOL and Bajenski high school tournaments, three major tournament venues with tournaments every weekend, and several summertime leagues and programs. Our association has prepared many members to work extensive IHSA State Finals, advance to the collegiate level, and attend umpire school and advance into minor league baseball.
